Romance Holidays

Romantic getaways are a very personal choice; from a weekend in a country B&B to a month of 6 Star luxuries in an exotic tropical spa, everyone’s idea of a romantic getaway is different. But often there are a few points in common: privacy, seclusion, chocolate, roses and bubbly. Sometimes well-planned, often spontaneous, a romantic getaway can soup up a relationship like nothing else, because, after all, there is nothing more romantic than sharing new experiences and discovering new places with the one you love.

Couples Only (No Kids) Holidays

If there’s too much noise and stress at home, lock Mum’s taxi in the garage, ship the ankle biters over to Nan and Pop, and take off on a romantic couples-only break. Kid-free holiday venues are sprouting all over the world, providing couples a romantic alternative to the daily domestic routine. The range is enormous, from tropical spas focusing on wellness, to gourmet food and wine experiences in mountain retreats; your Travel Counsellor has information on all the latest no-kids holiday destinations, so give them a call to book your romantic getaway.

Weddings, Honeymoons, Babymoons & Vow Renewals

The ultimate expression of love and devotion, the destination wedding is becoming increasingly popular. Instead of the hassles of self-organisation when you’re busily making plans for your future together, your Travel Counsellor can arrange a full wedding package in any number of the world’s most romantic settings, and then extend your celebrations into a blissfully romantic honeymoon. Travel Counsellors are honeymoon specialists and should be your first call when planning for your special day.

For parents-to-be, the latest must-do is a babymoon, one last relaxing and romantic vacation before the bundle of joy arrives. Luxury getaways offering soothing and calming massages and de-stress treatments are the favoured destination for babymooners. For the happily married lovers, vow renewal ceremonies and celebrations in family-friendly resorts are just another way romance can be expressed.
