Welcome Fellow Travellers,
Let me introduce myself as what would best be described as a travel tragic. My formative years involved one brother living and working in the UK and travelling around Europe and another living in Papua New Guinea. So from an early age I had instilled in me an awareness of the world and the desire to get out and experience that world. I love travelling, I love hearing and talking about travel and I really love my job as a travel planner.
From the minute I finished school the journey began. I have been fortunate to see so much of Australia. My favourite Australian destination is Tasmania, closely rivaled by the Northern Territory and the southern tip of Western Australia. The early 90’s saw the backpack strapped on for an extended stay in the U.K and Europe. In the last decade I have become an unabashed fan of Asian destinations, Vietnam and China being at the top of the list.
I am very excited about the opportunity that Travel Counsellors offers. I previously felt constrained by the retail travel environment, not being able to provide the levels of service and attention to detail that I felt was required. Travel Counsellors lifts those constraints and provides the opportunity to be the 'best of the best’.
With a background in logistics revolving around the aviation industry, formal qualifications in tourism, five years retail travel experience and a vast travel C.V. behind me, I am confident in my ability to service your travel needs.
