Italy

Italy, the European country shaped like a boot, is a place that has everything, from fast paced cities and great shopping such as Milan, to the amazing sightseeing city of Rome which has the Vatican, Colisseum and Trevi Fountain.
A great way to explore Italy is to drive from the top to the bottom, covering all of the main cities like Venice, Pisa, Rome and continue down to Sicily. If you have the time it would take at least a month, but it would be an unforgettable experience. Of course you could always book a tour or even use the fast and reliable rail system.
Along the way you could also visit Naples, which has some great history about Mount Vesuvius, which erupted and destroyed Pompeii and some other towns. You can climb this huge volcano and get a feel for its capabilities.
From Naples you can also visit the amazing Amalfi Coast, which is a spectacular drive along the cliffs overlooking pebble beaches and luxury homes of the rich and famous. If you have the time I would suggest driving down to Calabria and stopping at Bagnara, which is located on the east coast and has a lovely beach which overlooks Sicily. You could also catch a ferry over to Sicily and explore this fantastic island.
There is much to love about Italy, such as the huge pizzas, overflowing panini, best coffee and great bars to pass the time and to enjoy the friendly and energetic lifestyle of the Italian people.
