Hello,
My name is Linda and I’m a Travel Counsellor in Bald Hills, Queensland. I was born and brought up in New Zealand and also lived in the UK for two years before moving to Australia in 1998. I have worked in many aspects of the travel industry, from a bus company in New Zealand, a 5 Star hotel in the UK and for the last ten years with Qantas here in Australia.
I got the travel bug at a very early age; my first overseas trip was at age 2, when I went to the UK via America and Disneyland with my parents and older sisters. (although by all accounts I slept through Disneyland!!!) I have travelled extensively ever since. My two favourite destinations are the UK and America, with Washington DC being a favourite. There is such a vibe about America’s capital that I haven’t felt anywhere else.
Being a Travel Counsellor allows me to share my love of travel and offer a level of customer service and attention to detail that I feel just isn’t possible in a traditional retail environment. Because I work from home I am flexible with my time, which means I’m not restricted to traditional office hours, so I can come and visit you at your home on a Saturday afternoon if that is what you prefer.
For me, part of the buzz of travelling is in the planning. Whatever your travel plans, from a domestic family trip, to an overseas experience of a lifetime, I’m looking forward to helping you plan it.
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best wishes and happy travelling,
Linda
