Hi, my name is Liz and I am based on the sunny Gold Coast in South East Queensland. Originally from the UK, I decided four years ago that Australia was the best place to bring up my family and we have never looked back, it is truly a unique country.

It was my experience in the travel industry that led me to become a Travel Counsellor earlier this year. My travel/hospitality background spans some 22 years. I have always had a passion for travel and have been fortunate enough to work extensively throughout Europe as a tour director. This has allowed me the privilege of visiting and experiencing first hand many different cultures and traditions. I spent ten years working in Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Holland where I met my now, husband. I have also been fortunate enough through my work to visit China, Hong Kong and other Asian destinations.

After having my family I opened a hotel in the UK. I spent the next few years building up a successful business and enjoyed the satisfaction of having many repeat clients. In 2006 we migrated to Australia where I obtained my Diploma of Tourism and began work in the retail travel industry. During this time I have had the opportunity to visit some of the South Pacific regions, and also to travel with my family. It has provided me firsthand knowledge of some great family holidays, from cruising to all inclusive resorts.

Working as a Travel Counsellor is a fantastic way to service my clients. It allows me the flexibility to suit their needs. I can meet at whatever location is convenient to you.
