Take a step back in time to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, based on the heyday of 1920’s Atlantic City era and reminiscent of an elegant bed and breakfast. The Boardwalk Inn and Villa’s contain old-fashioned furnishings, soft muted colours and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Two different wings of this resort contain their Inn or hotel style accommodation or their Villa’s, which are self contained with kitchenette but not always laundry facilities. A laundry is available onsite for guest use.
Outside, a stroll along the promenade offers fantastic views, family fun, eateries, street performers, clubs and shops. At night, the Boardwalk comes alive and has a great atmosphere. Restaurants here are good, with the notable recommendation of The Flying Fish Café, a seafood lovers heaven. There are also options for quick service counter style meals (although mainly for dinner) a bakery (open all day) and even an old-fashioned candy shop.

Another benefit of staying at this Disney Resort is it’s extremely close proximity to the Epcot theme park, which is either a 5 minute boat ride or 10 minute walk, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is a 20 minute boat ride and 15 minute walk. All transportation between The Boardwalk and Disney theme parks are included in the cost of your stay. This is applicable to any of the 4 major theme parks, two water parks, 12 resorts and the Downtown Disney area.

Big kids and little kids will love the Luna Park pool area, complete with a 200ft wooden coaster slide, spa’s and wading pool.

Overall, Tthe boardwalk Villa’s get 8/10 for theming, quality and amenities and 10/10 for accessibility and location. Value for money scores 8/10 and it iI,s in my opinion that guests pay a higher price first and foremost for the advantage of such a great location and secondly for the features within this Deluxe resort.
