Thankyou for taking the time to look over my web page. Below, I hope to give you a brief overview of my experience and values.
I have been working in travel for over 12 years almost exclusively in the area of Corporate/Business travel. I have worked in some small agencies and some of the largest and most prestigious agencies. I am now pleased to be with Travel Counsellors as they offer me the freedom to tailor a service to suit my clients.
How I view corporate travel:
The world of corporate travel is very different from that of leisure travel. When people are travelling for business they’re travelling because they have to, not because they want to and that changes their expectations. When you’re travelling for business you want to get to your destination with as little fuss as possible and feeling as fresh as possible so you can conduct your business and then return home. Occasionally you may want to enhance your trip with some leisure activities. Although this isn’t generally your main focus, I can certainly assist with anything you might want to do. Often meetings are scheduled at the last minute, your travel has to be arranged at the last minute and then without notice everything has to be changed. This is just part of life in the world of corporate travel and what keeps things interesting for me.
How I’m different from other consultants:
Unlike many consultants working at bigger agencies I enjoy what I do. I enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect airfare and accommodation and I enjoy the pressure of having to do things at the last minute. Whatever the challenger, I won’t stop until I have found the perfect solution.
I like to build a close relationship with my clients so that I can anticipate their needs and desires before they have thought of them. When I book a flight for one of my clients I know what sort of class they fly, whether they need flexible flights, what seat they like to sit in, what sort of accommodation they like and a host of other important details that make the difference in the quality of the travel experience. I make myself available 24/7 so if things do change I will be there to help you with your new arrangements.
