Hi, I’m Susanne Thwaites and I have been selling Travel since 1998. Most of my time has been in two fields, Health and Travel.
After a childhood spent dreaming of visiting distant lands, at the age of 38 I finally departed our dusty shores – to Europe via Hong Kong and home via LA. The experience was all I could have hoped for and much much more. Looking back on my trip after I returned home, I realised that I got as much fun and satisfaction from researching the destinations and organising the trip that I decided to look further into a possible life as a Travel Consultant.
Through the travel I‘ve undertaken and the online courses I’ve completed, there is nowhere on this planet that I can’t get first hand information on. I have specialised in travel through Thailand, WA, the Northern Territory, particularly the Kimberley. I am also a trained Cruise Specialist.
Due to inury and arthritis, I've travelled for the last 15 years with certain physical diabilities and therefore have decided to specialise in arranging travel experiences for those of us who do have mild mobility issues. Through my own experience, I have been able to source the best way to travel, in a more comfortable, easily accessible way - not only for able bodied passengers, but for those with Arthritis and other associated disabilities. What this means is that if you have an interest in learning about new cultures and meeting some amazing people I am the girl who can organise it for you in a way that you will not only be able to enjoy, but will be able to ‘do’ – comfortably and relatively pain free.
All too often I have had client say to me that they would really like to visit a particular area only to feel that it is out of their reach physically. Often they are scared of undertaking a couch tour for the same reason (feeling they would slow down guided tours and ruin the experience for their fellow travellers). Well, I'm living proof that there is nowhere on this earth that is out of reach.
