Discover more of Canada by going north into the Yukon. Whitehorse is the capital and largest city of Yukon, Canada. Stay 3 nights and enjoy an included Wilderness City Tour to see Log Skyscraper, Old Log Church, Miles Canyon view point, Fish Ladder and an interpretive tour of the SS Klondike.

Named the Wilderness City, Whitehorse is nestled on the banks of the famous Yukon River surrounded by mountains and pristine lakes. Whitehorse got its start during the Klondike Goldrush of 1898, where the stampeder’s had to bypass the trecherous waters of Miles Canyon and the White Horse Rapids south of the present city.

Now the center of government for the Yukon, and the main access point for touring into the interior, this city is steeped in history, you may wish to visit the S.S. Klondike, a paddlewheeler used in the Goldrush. There is also the Beringia Centre which details the
last ice age and has exhibits on the Woolly Mammoth, Giant Steppe Bison, Giant Beaver (400lbs!) and more.
