Departure Date: 20/01/2020
Although not commonly considered as a destination for skiiers, those in the know will tell you that the powder in Japan is among the best in the world. Many of its resorts offer a wide range of runs for all levels, making it a great destination for family ski holidays.
The Hakuba area has become very well-known for its reliable snowfall so it is no surprise that it was chosen as the site of a number of events at the 1998 Winter Olympics. At the same time as offering quality snow, the resort is also close enough to a number of other attractions, such as the popular snow monkeys or the historic city of Nagano.
Also included in this itinerary is a day in Tokyo enjoying some family fun. With invigorating taiko drumming and a tasty evening of ramen, there is plenty of time to bond with the little ones and get your fill of Japanese culture before hitting the slopes.
