I have used Andrew on three occasions to organise group holidays. With all the complexities associated with travelling I want to know that my tour organiser is up-to-date with travel legalities, timetables and all details. He responds immediately or within 24 hours to my requests and gives me ideas and more importantly, I feel comfortable working with him. We have a good rapport and he always aims to get us the very best deal.

We just had Andrew finalise a pretty complex itinerary for us for the next 3 months. We're absolutely delighted with the service and attention he gave us. Andrew had to organise about 7 different trips to various places overseas, and answer all our questions about transfers, transport, insurance, options etc. I thought our questions were quite specific, as it's part a work trip for my partner and part holiday for both of us. It was mostly organised via email/phone, which was no drama at all. Andrew sent us all the flight options in a very clear to read format, and responded v quickly to any requests for further options. The whole thing was painless. At the end we met for coffee in the CBD and he gave us all the hard copies of everything in a folder. I was also advised to see Andrew after a recommendation from not only my sister-in-law but my Dad, who'd already used Andrew's services and highly recommended him. You won't get anywhere near Andrew's depth of service through all the big chains (I've tried and failed) - and certainly not if you try to do it yourself online. I'll definitely give Andrew a buzz next time I need a holiday organised!

Words cannot express our thanks to you for the organisation of our recent world wide trip. Des and I had a trip of a lifetime and we considered your organisation of our trip to be exemplary. We visited so many countries and met some fabulous people, who are now our new friends as well. We will certainly use your services again in a couple of years but in the meantime it will take us some time to comprehend the places we visited which are now implanted in our memories. Thank you sssooooo much Andrew.

Andrew advised us on and booked much of our recent family holiday to the USA. I initially sought quotes from Andrew for a few hotels I had sourced myself. He gave me pricings for those hotels and also priced a few others that were better located, cheaper and of the same quality that I had wanted. Needless to say, I was very happy with this outcome! He also booked our car hire, internal flights and various hotel transfers. While we were away, we realised that we needed to upgrade the size of our hire car. I e-mailed Andrew with this query and received an immediate response from him that he had taken care of it and sent us a new voucher. Andrew was very professional during the planning stages of our holiday and it never seemed to frustrate him that I would change dates, hotels and the actual route. He contacted the hotels directly to maximise our chances of being allocated adjoining rooms and was able to weave his magic to cancel a "non refundable" hotel tariff that was booked but needed to be changed after I realised that I had made a mistake with my dates! Andrew was prompt to respond to my e-mails and he travelled to meet me at my local café to deliver and explain my travel documents. I would certainly recommend Andrew to manage your travel arrangements.

How does the saying go again? “If the mountain will not come to Mohammad, then Mohammad must go to the mountain”? Well, on my arrival at Cairo International Airport this Mohammad did come to this mountain, as I exited the air bridge into the terminal. There was Mohammad, with my name in large font on his clipboard. I introduced myself to him, and as we proceeded to immigration, we chatted. A well-spoken man, he asked if I had my passport and papers on me, which I did. He promptly took them and handed them to the immigration official, whilst muttering...

I had two days to explore as much as Antwerp, Belgium’s second biggest city and largest port, as possible. After doing some research I found the best way to do this is with the Antwerp City card. This not only provided access to several museums, but also gave me free use of the tram and bus system throughout the city. The cultural capital of Flanders, the Dutch-speaking northern area of Belgium, Antwerp is both a bustling industrial port city and an outstanding historic centre for Belgian craftwork and artistry. The city was once home to such famous artists as Rubens,...

I had read that the Indian Government’s decision to withdraw the 500 and 1000 rupee notes were causing some money changing issues, including the inability to purchase any in Australia. I didn’t expect to have stood at the currency exchange line at Delhi Airport for about 1 hour, watching only 3 people moving with another 20 people to go. I gave up, and transferred to the Kyron hotel, where we checked in and met our Intrepid group for dinner. WELCOME TO INDIA! Although the room service breakfast says it doesn't start till 730am, the hotel staff tell us breakfast is downstairs....

When I was invited by Wandering the World to help co-ordinate tickets, visas and insurance for the tour they organized with the Photographic Studies College of Melbourne, never in my wildest dreams did I envisage I would have seen the most amazing destination in my life as a travel agent. What started as a jaw dropping information evening presented by Michael Coyne and Hoda Afshar, became a 2-week journey into a culture that has existed for thousands of years. My journey begins in Tehran, the modern day capital of Iran. A city of chaos that is not reflected in its...

My daughter was lucky enough to experience the Galapagos Islands, with Lindblad Expeditions aboard the National Geographic Endeavour. Below is her journal of the adventure, as well as some of her favourite pictures. Day 1: Today was the start of our adventure. We got up early in Ecuador to get on the plane to the Galapagos. On arrival at the Galapagos, we had to go to a pier to get on zodiacs to get to the boat. This pier was no normal pier…. there were sea lions everywhere! They weren’t just on the stairs, they were on boats too. When we...

Day One For the 2015 season, Viking introduced the long ships, however, the piers at the Eiffel Tower were unable to be completed in time, and so all cruises from Paris departed for an outer suburb on the Seine, Le Pecq. My first impressions of the Rinda, are the clean lines and bright wood of this 3 level vessel, all part of the Norwegian influence of the owners. No need for internal lights during the day. There was a small buffet lunch in the lounge leading on to the Aquavit Terrace, a feature on all the Viking long ships. Internally in...

It has been 5 years since I had last been to Paris, and that time was with my family in an apartment in Le Marais, so I thought I would stay in the not so well frequented 17th arrondissement, known in Paris for where the “Bobo”s live (the Bohemian Bourgeoisie). It is less than 2 weeks after the tragic events of the Batacalan, and it is quite noticeable the lack of visible police in the Champs Elysees on the day of my arrival. Little was I to know that the next day, world leaders would start arriving for the climate...

Prior to my arrival in Paris, I had decided to organise a day tour of the Somme, to see firsthand, what not only Australian, but British, New Zealand, South African and New Foundland (then, still a British colony and not as yet absorbed into Canada) troops experienced. An early start to board my 7.05am train from Gare du Nord, I was thankful I decided to spend only a few extra euros to travel First Class. The end of November can be quite cool, and First Class had heating. A 75 minute train journey to Amiens to be collected by Jackie Bedford...
