Discover the Heart of L.A.

We are the HEART of LA. Home of the icons and rebels. Insiders and the open-minded. The famous and the infamous. WeHo, as it is known to locals, is where rock & roll meets fashion, art merges with lifestyle and everyone is free to be different. West Hollywood is a top travel destination among the entertainment industry, the jet set and LGBTQ global community. Attracting the well-traveled is West Hollywood’s stylish array of hotels dedicated to providing premium service and personalized experiences.

Weather

Weather in West Hollywood is generally mild and temperate year round. Temperatures vary slightly from season to season due to the stabilizing effects of the Pacific Ocean. Rain, if any, falls in winter and peaks in February. Spring, summer and fall are warm, dry, clear and bright! (Minor exception: A couple of overcast weeks known as “June Gloom”. To be fair though, that nickname is a view through a local’s lens. It’s still bright, breezy and warm all June).

 WeHo's 3 Districts

The scene in West Hollywood is densely packed into 1.9 square miles of an eclectic mix of L.A.’s most coveted destinations.  Be sure to check out the many celebrity hot spots, premier spas, fitness and entertainment locales.

Santa Monica Boulevard - Santa Monica Boulevard, famously known as Route 66, passes straight through West Hollywood. With it come a variety of fantastic shops and restaurants, and the heart of the LGBTQ scene in the city.

The Sunset Strip -The Sunset Strip is the mile-and-a-half (2.4 km) stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood, California. The Sunset Strip is a party destination like no other—home to gangsters in the roaring 1920's, playground of Hollywood royalty then and now, and the origin of many famous brands.

West Hollywood's Design District  -Home to some of the most world-famous retailers, you won't want to miss strolling along Melrose and dropping in luxury and flagship stores.

WeHo Numbers

17 hotels and 2 motels within its borders.

Over 150 restaurants and bars.

More than 3 million visitors each year.

Rooftop Pools & Bars

West Hollywood has more bars per square kilometre than any other city in California, and more rooftop pools, restaurants and nightclubs. No wonder West Hollywood’s population almost doubles on weekends.

For families and singles alike, pools are the perfect antidote to beaches. WeHo’s hotel pool options offer amenities you’ll love: towel service, shade you don’t have to drag behind you, secure wifi, and cool, cool cocktails. Families score big time at Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel, with a beautiful pool setting and complimentary full (hot) breakfasts. For more of a family splurge, the Le Parc Suite Hotel features kitchenettes, childcare and babysitting, and a rooftop skydeck and heated pool.

Some in-the-know denizens let bar and club hopping rule their itinerary impulses. Start any evening at The Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel, at the bar’s casual poolside terrace, with sweeping views of L.A. for a glass of bubbly. The rooftop at E.P. & L.P. sports 360-degree views of the cityscape and Hollywood Hills, creative cocktails, and a handful of benches and fire pits to keep the night both cozy and chill. Not to be outdone or outshone, though, the The Mondrian Los Angeles (with its glamorous and gorgeous Skybar) and The Standard, Hollywood (where The Pool Deck comes alive with bright blue astro turf, live music, and ping pong) rule the sundrenched roost.
