Hi there, my name is Donna.
I am a Personal Travel Consultant based in Shell Cove. I have lived in the area all my life and now with my husband and four children.
Along with my family, one of my greatest passions in life is travel! I have had many years experience working in the travel industry and have enjoyed many years doing one of the things we love best…travelling!
From driving in an RV through America, scuba diving and exploring the real Fiji by experiencing traditional village life, bartering for bargains in Bali, cruising the Caribbean, taking the subways, walking the Brooklyn Bridge, Taking a horse and carriage ride around Central Park in New York, taking in amazing shows in Las Vegas, marvelling at the Aurora Borealis just under the Arctic Circle and flying by helicopter to remote ice fishing and fly fishing farms, over and through frozen canyons in the Yukon Territory in Canada to whale watching, hot springs and jet boating my way around wineries in New Zealand. Elephant trekking in Thailand, Sand Dune bashing in Dubai, Sea kayaking in Hawaii, Dining on grasshoppers in Mexico on the Baja Peninsula of Los Cabos (among lots of actual amazing cuisine) and being awarded a guest of the most exquisite resorts in Mexico, cheering on the NY Knicks at Madison Square Gardens, jumping off waterfalls in Jamaica, Zip Lining in Haiti, Climbing the tower at St Peters Basilica in Rome, Wine tasting in Tuscany, riding a gondola in Venice, driving through the countryside in England and France, hiking around our own Kings Canyon and Uluru, swimming in spectacular hidden gorges in The Kimberley WA, diving the Great Barrier Reef, and learning about bush tucker in Arnhemland... it has been quite the adventure so far!
One of my greatest enjoyments is snow skiing abroad and I been lucky enough to also experience skiing throughout the USA, Canada and New Zealand.
In addition, I have inspected many ships... including Holland America's MS Noordam, Princess Cruises Sea Princess, Carnival's Spirit and P & O's Pacific Jewel, as well as having cruised myself with Royal Caribbean's USA based Independence of the Seas and P&O's Pacific Aria and the newest member to P&O's fleet The Pacific Explorer.
Travel is that life changing and life enhancing experience that so many aspire to.
Life is about making those dreams come true, and I would love to help make your travel dreams come true!

In December 2019, I travelled to the beautiful Hawaiian Island of Kaua'i. Flying Hawaiian Airlines through to Lihue Airport from Sydney, we were greeted with that beautiful Hawaiian welcome as soon as we boarded the aircraft. Upon landing we were welcomed with a VIP lei greeting and transferred to the stunning Koloa Landing Resort in Poipu. This is an Autograph Collection resort and this is reflected in every way. From the sprawling lush tropical grounds, to the gorgeous and incredibly spacious villas ( all self catering ), to the amazing cascading waterfall pools al situated just across the road from the...

In November 2019, I experienced one of the most incredible trips I have ever ventured on…. Antarctica. I embarked on this adventure with Quark Expeditions aboard their newest luxury vessel, the World Explorer. After a flight and 2 night stay in Ushuaia, Argentina, we embarked on this absolutely stunning luxury small ship (holding a maximum of 200 passengers) and began our journey to the 7th Continent. This epic trip is every bit as much about the journey as the destination. The moment you step foot on this ship, you will be transported into a high-end realm that will combine perfectly...

Yassoo from The Greek Islands!! We travelled to Santorini and Mykonos on the end of a huge European family holiday in June 2019. Upon pickup from the airport, we were transferred to our our gorgeous boutique accommodation in Oia. I chose to stay here for Oia’s famous sunsets over the Caldera & also because it’s quieter more peaceful & relaxing that Thira. Our hotel ( Sophia Boutique Hotel ) is only 2 years young and sat perched on a cliff overlooking the water & arid fields below. We had a family room with a private plunge pool ( which was 2 level...

Cruising the Dalmation Coastline!! I cruised with my family down through the Dalmatian coast along the Adriatic Sea in May 2019. While only a short cruise ( 5 nights ), the ports were definitely the attraction, calling in Slovenia, Croatia and Albania. First port of call was Koper in Slovenia. It was raining that day, so we decided on just a walk around the seaside town, enjoyed local Burek & coffee for lunch & then back to the ship. Koper is a lovely town on the water & fresh seafood is a big industry. A stroll through the old town was...

In October 2018 I travelled to the UAE encompassing Abu Dhabi & Dubai. Flying Etihad and enjoying the Etihad Business Class lounge was a fabulous way to being this amazing journey. The Business class lounge is suitably lit, offering full bar & barista service as well as boasting an impressive cuisine to start your trip. The 15-hour flight was onboard the airline was comfortable, food was great and the service was on point. On arrival in Abu Dhabi, we were transferred privately to Dubai and checked into our first accommodation…Atlantis The Palm. How do I describe this elegant, yet enormous,...

A trip to beautiful Fiji with Travel Counsellors! An amazing showcase of not only world class resorts, but cruising the Yasawa Islands with Captain Cook Cruises and a peek at the 'real' Fiji. We started out with a 2 nights stay on the lovely Coral Coast at The Warwick resort. The Warwick is a beautifully traditional Fijian resort right on it's own beach on the Coral Coast. After a lovely relaxing day and a hosted welcome dinner, the next morning we ventured off to Sigatoka for the Jet Boat ride up to one of the local villages only accessible by water....

Following an amazing time in Tokyo in February 2018, we then made out way to Hakuba to check out the ski fields and see for ourselves what the the fuss over the Japanese Powder was all about! We took the Bullet train from Tokyo Station to Nagano – travelling at approx. 250kms per hour - and then a shuttle bus up the mountain, which is the most popular way to get to Hakuba. The Bullet trains don't run from Shinjuku station, so you first need to make your way to Tokyo Station. The trip to Nagano takes about 90...

In February, I had the amazing experience of travelling to Japan to ski with my family. Our trip began with a few nights in Tokyo. If you haven't been to Japan before and plan on making your own way around, it's not for the fainthearted. Language barriers are plentiful, signage is not very conducive to Westerners and the city is chaotic. But take heart - it is organised chaos. For a city that holds a higher population than the entire country of Australia, they do it well! You definitely need to give yourself the time to work out the intricate train...

Hola!! I would like to share with you my most recent Travel Agents trip to Mexico. I'll begin with American Airlines, who resumed flights out of Sydney, direct to LAX in December last year. They are out to impress our Aussie market! And impress they did. American Airlines presented us with an outstanding amount of food and great quality for economy class. Plenty of beverage choice and the entertainment options were plentiful. We were met by our transfer at the airport and taken to The Cape Hotel. I'm not sure I can prepare anyone for the sensational view you are privy to,...

My husband and I have just returned from a 7 week holiday around Europe and a week in New York. It included 2 cruises, 6 flights, 5 train trips and all our accommodation. We gave Donna an outline of what we wanted with dates. Truly, within a week, we had an email with suggested times of flights, 3 to 4 different choices of motels at each place we wanted to stay, dates of cruises that suited our itinerary and professional advise on so many things we hadn't thought about. When we had agreed on our trip we spoke to Donna and left it all in her hands. Everything from transfers to day trips to motel bookings all ran so smoothly. We had a stress free holiday and came home very relaxed. It is with heart felt thanks for the all the time and effort we know that Donna put into our holiday and always with a smile. Nothing is ever a problem and you can be assured you will be looked after with professionalism. Thanks Donna.

Donna has assisted me in organizing a 5 week family holiday for 2 adults and 3 teenagers in Dec 2016-Jan 2017 which included Xmas skiing in Whistler, New Year's Eve in New York, and a 5 day cruise in the Caribbean to name just 3 of the 10 places we visited. She also booked the 6 night solo business trip I attended in New Orleans in May 2017. Donna is the consummate professional. Not only does she have invaluable experience and advice in creating a wonderful holiday when you are starting with a blank slate, she is also more than happy to partner with you to bring your holiday to fruition if you come to her with either a part or fully formed itinerary in place. Having Donna as my travel agent also paid off BIG time when my connecting flight from LA to New Orleans was cancelled last May after a 3 hr delay and then technical issues. Having been awake by that time for approximately 37 hours, I was exhausted and not thinking clearly so I made an SOS call to Donna back in Australia. By the time I had hopped in a taxi & made frantic calls to nearby hotels for a room for the night, she had booked me onto a new flight the next morning, and all by the time I checked into a hotel 10mins later. It's a wonderful feeling when you leave for holidays to know that Donna has your back should anything go amiss . With that type of service and her happy, personable nature, its little wonder I am again using Donna as my travel agent in organizing a sampler cruise with friends on Cunard's "Queen Elizabeth" , as well as getting her valuable input and advice in helping to plan an Alaskan cruise or African safari in mid 2019. With her also being the mother of young adult men like myself, she is also a wealth of information on skiing options in Japan for a possible post HSC schoolies trip. I cannot recommend Donna enough.

Nothing was too much trouble for Donna (even when we had a hiccup on the other side of the world). She helped us put together our ultimate family holiday, and what an experience it was! Thank you Donna for everything you did for us. It was truly a holiday we will.never forget!
